Arrive in the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara. Spend your day boating on Phewa Lake or strolling through the vibrant Lakeside market. In the evening, meet your guide for a final gear check and briefing while enjoying the reflection of the Annapurna range on the water.
After a 1-hour drive to Kande, your trek begins with a steady climb to Australian Camp for a stunning panoramic view. From there, you’ll enter a deep, enchanted forest of oak and rhododendron, walking for about 6 hours until you reach the peaceful clearing of Forest Camp (2,600m).
The trail continues upward through the “Cloud Forest,” where the trees are draped in moss and orchids. As you climb toward Low Camp and eventually High Camp (3,580m), the trees disappear, and you find yourself walking along a spectacular ridge with 360-degree views of the Himalayas.
Wake up early for the highlight of the trip—a hike to Mardi Himal Base Camp (4,500m). You will stand face-to-face with the towering peak of Machhapuchhre and Annapurna South. After capturing the sunrise, you’ll descend back to the scenic ridge of Badal Danda (the “Hill of Clouds”) for the night.
Leave the high ridges behind and descend through a different trail into the lush valley. You’ll walk through traditional terraced fields and dense forests until you reach Siding (1,700m), a traditional Gurung village where you can experience authentic mountain hospitality.
